Ever feel like you need days off from your days off?  Thats pretty much what's going on.  I feel like I have been going nonstop for weeks and this weekend was no exception.  We celebrated my sister's 14th bday, carved pumpkins, and went on a 7 mile hike......from which I am still recovering.  Out of shape much?

This past week has been beyond crazy with family in town and birthday celebrations so I havent been able to blog.  I do however have something I would like to share.  I would like to go on record to say that J. Crew did NOT outsmart me this year.

Last weekend I went to their warehouse sale in Durham which looked like this..

What a mess right?

Well, I have been searching everywhere for a dress like this to wear to a wedding in Charleston in November...

With a sweet price tag of $365 I was not about to fall for their tricks.  Little did I know I didnt have to.  After an hour of digging my sister and I were able to find not 1 but 2 of these dresses in different colors and my size for.....wait for it......$15 dollars each!! Are you kidding me?!

Better luck next time J.Crew.

Under the Weather/Water

Well we are back from South Carolina and while UK couldn't catch a football, I caught a cold.  So Monday night while I was trying to recover from my head feeling like it was about to explode, I, along with the rest of America watched the Kardashian wedding and accidentally put my phone in a cup of water and didn't notice until 30 minutes later.  Needless to say my little ole blackberry was not a very good swimmer and left me disconnected from the rest of the world. 

I have a loaner phone until Friday when the new iphone comes out, so I figured what better time than now to see what kind of snazzy cover I can get.

Packing it up again this weekend and heading to South Carolina  to watch UK vs. USC.  The forecast is calling for sunshine and a high of 81; so even though I'm not a huge fan of football, I am a huge fan of catching a tan.  Lets just pray that everything I leave with...returns.

while we spent the weekend with Mike and Ashley in Asheville celebrating Mark and Meredith's wedding with lots of friends from high school and college

the open bar and slight snow may have been the reason for the night ending some what like this....

and could possibly explain why only one of my heels made it back to Greensboro.  Sad.
