This year Thanksgiving was a little different than usual. For the past 16 years or so we have had Thanksgiving in our bathing suits on the beach in Florida. All of us are getting older and our different schedules make it harder for everyone to take as much time off as we used to. Even though I didn't end the break with a tan and a new collection of sharks teeth, I will have to say that it ranked up there with one of my favorite family memories.
we had almost as many dogs as humans
some were less excited about walking off what we had eaten
and some refused to leave the couch
